  Friendly staff, and a great Manatee tour - Irish Dave and Shana really know what they are doing. Go early the morning, and on a cold day. The Manatees will still be huddled together, and easy to find - just get into the water quickly so your wet suit can starting warming you up. The heated house boat is worth it in this case.

  My family’s experience of swimming with the manatees was worth every penny. Our Captain Tanner and guide Jamie were exceptional and instilled in our group the wonder and respect necessary to enjoy the manatees and their greater Florida ecosystem. While out on the water, I was distracted by other charter’s guides being vocally noisy and equipment that wasn’t well maintained. This was not the case with River Safaris. Our captain and guide respectfully taught my four and nine year old children to consider the manatees boundaries and how it would affect their experience. My kids felt safe and were in awe.
